Technical panels with high-performance display screens
The Hospital de Igualada has entrusted Tedisel Medical’s technological solutions for the renovation of its obstetrics block, creating more pleasant and functional spaces from a design perspective.
According to information published by La Vanguardia, this renovation includes extensions and improvements to the kitchen, the obstetrics ward, the pharmacy, the medical day hospital, and the emergency room, as well as the construction of a new SEM base and the development of the executive project for the diagnostic testing area with sedation and outpatient surgery. The renovation will allow for the incorporation of new technology and make the spaces more versatile, facilitating adaptation to changing situations and multidisciplinary teamwork.
At Tedisel Medical, we understand that patient safety, well-being, and comfort are fundamental pillars for recovery in any hospital. In this project, the renovation of the surgical block has involved the incorporation of advanced technological solutions aimed at improving the operating rooms through large-format devices that allow images and videos to be viewed during procedures.
To this end, QPANEL has been installed, a technical panel designed and manufactured in Corian, a highly hygienic, safe, and adaptable material that facilitates the integration of components and spaces for display screens. Specifically, two display screens and one workstation screen were incorporated, all of which are designed to withstand high-performance environments, with touch technology and resistance to the demanding temperature and cleaning conditions typical of the surgical area.
The system is managed from a single interface, reducing the need for multiple devices, minimizing interruptions, and improving the ergonomics of the surgical environment. In addition, both the technical panel and the software have been developed in accordance with the rigorous international regulations and certifications of the hospital sector, ensuring reliability and safety in highly demanding environments.
