Ergonomics in ICUs: the key to efficiency and recovery
Ergonomics is an essential factor in Intensive Care Units, as it improves the efficiency of healthcare personnel and accelerates patient recovery. At Tedisel Medical, we are committed to innovative solutions that focus on both the professional and the patient.
An example of this is the recent installation of our COLUMN ceiling supply unit with Tandem configuration in the ICUs of the Quirón Ruber International Hospital (Madrid).
An adapted and functional solution
Tedisel offered a fully customized solution, incorporating:
- COLUMN unit with double non-motorized arm
- Two Service Heads with their respective gas supplies and electrical connections
- Integrated technical accessories: rails with infusion pumps, IV pole, trays with drawers, among others
The Tandem configuration, with two columns working simultaneously, allows for efficient centralization within the ICU. Thanks to its design, it optimizes space, facilitates cleaning and improves the organization of the clinical environment.
The system was meticulously adapted in length and technical characteristics according to the hospital’s requirements, guaranteeing functionality and architectural coherence in the critical care rooms.
A humanized and efficient environment.
The integrated direct and indirect lighting allows for both precise medical intervention and the creation of a comfortable and humanized environment for the patient, favoring their well-being during the recovery process.
